Christmas Parade
This is the image I did for a Christmas Parade last Christmas. I had so much fun doing this that I think I will do a lot more in this cartoony funny style. It makes me smile.

Dude, this is hilarious! Scrooge trying to cut the reins with scissors is about the funniest things I've seen in months! Ha! Where was this poster put up? Are there any that survived?
Mark is an old soul from the suburbs of Kansas City. Some of his greatest inspirations are Jazz, Blues, Movies and Barbeque. His artistic heroes include Pablo Picasso, Al Hirschfeld, Thomas Hart Benton, Stanton MacDonald-Wright, Diego Rivera and Miguel Covarrubias. He explores color, shape and movement from Cubism, Futurism and Synchronism. He loves faces and how a humorous portrait or caricature can reveal so much more about a personality than any posed photo ever could. He is a strong believer that illustration will once again rule the world (in his lifetime). He still works and lives in the Midwest with his family. He eats dry ribs and takes the family to a movie every year on his birthday. He makes mix tapes for them on Valentine's Day.

What can I say, I like to laugh. I keep a small stack of the good stuff lying around at home. Mostly for portfolio purposes, yo.
