Easter at the Farm 2011

The Easter egg hunt and festivities at the Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park in Springfield was a cold 45 degrees a week before Easter. You'd think chances would be high for warm weather late April, but no. I went to take photos for the Parks Department but I doubt we'll ever use any of them because who thinks of wearing coats at an Easter festival? I brought my dad and Andrew and his cousin Becca from Ozark since all the other McClure family were at the hospital with Jenny's mom. So at least I got a few nice ones of the cousins. Who cares if they don't "scream" Easter.

Sweet Ada Jane- 3 months!

The Montgomery cousins got together on May 22, 2010 to take photos of 6 babies born in 5 months. The top photo is all of them together oldest to youngest. Julian Embree, Kate Montgomery, John & Christian Wade, Jake Myers, and Ada Jane Montgomery. It was a lot of cuteness in one confined space!

The dentist "jack-o-lanterned" me!

Andrew fell and busted out a tooth a couple weeks ago. Lesson learned. Hopefully. We had to go to the dentist to get it pulled the day after it was damaged. He got to eat ice cream for lunch that day. He loved being called "Drooly Andrew" as the ice cream ran down his chin from the numbness. The pictures above were taken last week in my office. You can see he is comfortable with his new look and has no trouble. Jack-o-lanterns will hit a little closer to home than usual this year. But he likes it. Might as well embrace it – he will look like this for a few years!

I had to work another event at the Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park in Springfield taking pictures. I brought Andrew along since I knew he'd have fun. I also have a good track record of getting some good shots of him at that park. He's so easy to work with! Here are a few of my favorites- he came up with putting the eggs in his overalls by himself. Maybe I should have brought a basket. Funny boy.

Down on the Farm

I had to work this weekend shooting photos for a Harvestfest event at Springfield's new farm park. So Jenny and Andrew came with me. It wasn't too hard to convince Andrew to go see the animals and pick pumpkins! He LOVES being outside. These pictures with his new glasses make him look so mature it's easy to forget he just turned 2.

Jenny took Andrew to the eye doctor today for a checkup and he said Andrew definitely needs glasses. So we're going to pick out some cute ones tomorrow. Here's a picture of Andrew and Papa being silly with glasses. Runs in the family. Glasses, not silliness I'm sure.
