Down on the Farm

I had to work this weekend shooting photos for a Harvestfest event at Springfield's new farm park. So Jenny and Andrew came with me. It wasn't too hard to convince Andrew to go see the animals and pick pumpkins! He LOVES being outside. These pictures with his new glasses make him look so mature it's easy to forget he just turned 2.

Andrew gets glasses

Jenny took Andrew to the eye doctor today for a checkup and he said Andrew definitely needs glasses. So we're going to pick out some cute ones tomorrow. Here's a picture of Andrew and Papa being silly with glasses. Runs in the family. Glasses, not silliness I'm sure.

Jenny's famous friends

We were at TGI Friday's in Springfield when we heard a rumor that someone famous was sitting near the bar. Turned out to be "Phillip" from Days of Our Lives. He's from Springfield and happened to be in town. He invited Jenny and our friend Libby over to say hi and take pictures (after Libby sent over some refreshments to his table). Friends for life!

We love the beach!

Went to Charleston, South Carolina the week after Andrew's birthday to our own condo at the beach. Having fun on the beach with "Ant Ketty & Unca Mwaymee," Andrew on the stairs at "Nanew's beach house," Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville on our way home.

New scooter

Andrew got a scooter for his second birthday on Aug. 1 and he loves it! For 2 weeks straight he would ask to go on a walk as soon as Mark got home from work. Mommy? Daddy? Walk? Mommy push Tootah? He has to wear his cute little helmet and kneepads which make him walk funny, but he can push the scooter with one foot for a little while, but he gets tired and asks Mommy to push. He asks Daddy to ride his own scooter with him. Daddy goes fast.
